The Council on Ionizing Radiation Measurements and Standards (CIRMS) will host its annual conference in late March at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, MD. This conference addresses the importance of radiation measurements with special emphasis being placed on standards. Speakers will include international experts from academia, industry, and government who work in the fields of radiation protection, industry, medicine, homeland security, and other related areas.
The theme of this year's conference is "Past, Present, and Future."
