Join the  Academic, Industrial & Research Radiation Section of the Health Physics Society at the 


What:

The Academic, Industrial & Research Radiation Section (AIRRS) of the Health Physics Society will have an interactive exhibit at the  2018 USA Science and Engineering Festival (SciFest). SciFest’s mission is to stimulate and sustain the interest of our nation’s youth in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) by producing and presenting the most compelling, exciting and educational Festival in the world.

SciFest is organized by Science Spark, a 501(c)(3) non-profit science outreach organization, and is funded through corporate sponsorships, government grants, and private donations.  The Festival is free of charge to attendees.  Fuel your curiosity at www.usasciencefestival.org!


When:  Friday, April 6 (9 AM to 3 PM), pre-registered attendees
Saturday, April 7 (10 AM to 6 PM)
Sunday, April 8 (10 AM to 4 PM)



Where:  Washington, DC Convention Center 


Volunteer:   

AIRRS is going to need help with planning, setting up, and running our booth.  Volunteers will work a 2-hour shift so you don’t need to be there the whole time.  You will find it fun and rewarding event!

You can register here or contact Cathy Ribaudo, from the AIRRS Section, at cribaudo@nih.gov to let her know you are interested in volunteering at the SciFest booth.  Those that register online will be added to the volunteer email list.  Details about volunteering will follow soon.
